CLEM Co-ordinate Conversion Tool

The CMS196V³ has an integrated, encoded, XY mechanism making it easy to accurately identify the coordinates of points of interest (POIs) on the EM grid. Using the NEXUS software and imaging system the coordinates of POIs can also be identified on the high resolution map image created by the NEXUS software. However it is often tricky to translate the coordinate system of the fluorescence microscope to that of the EM

Linkam now provide a simple tool to quickly and easily transform the CMS196V³ co-ordinates from the fluorescence map to the EM co-ordinate system

The CLEM coordinate conversion tool below is platform-independent. The coordinates of a point of interest from the fluorescence map can be converted into EM coordinates as long as the coordinates for two landmarks A and B are known for the fluorescence and the EM coordinate systems. The calculation accounts for scaling, translation and rotation but not for a flip of the sample.
